What does Holistic Health mean?
It is the focus and care of the entire individual in all forms of well-being, including physical, psychological, emotional and social. Your health is a sum of all of the pieces that make the whole of you. Things such as your career, relationships, and spirituality all affect your overall health.
Learning to integrate and care for all of those pieces will lead to optimal health, vitality and happiness.
Each client receives guidance and support sculpted to them. There is no “one size fits all” way of healthy living!
What is Functional Medicine?
Functional Medicine is different than conventional Western medicine in a few ways:
- Searches to find the underlying cause of the problem, asking not “What” but “WHY?”
- Believes in a whole body (holistic) approach to healing, addressing all aspects of health, through lifestyle modification, behavior and mindset training and natural remedies.
- It treats the person, not the symptoms, and as the WHOLE being, with the goal to optimize all the body systems to work together.

What is a Holistic Nutritionist and a Functional Medicine Health Coach?
Holistic Nutrition means utilizing diet, natural remedies & personalized changes to improve health and help support the healing of any health concerns.
I believe in whole-body wellness, which means addressing including all areas of health, and that nutrition is highly-individualized. No one size fits all or cookie cutter “plans” here! Food is energy, medicine, information and FUN!
As a health coach specializing in functional medicine, my goal is to help you uncover any root causes of health concerns. I ask not just WHAT but WHY. We collaboratively decide on the best course of action to bring you the best & sustainable results.
My role as a Nutritionist & Coach:
- Identify and help correct the nutritional causes of health complaints
- Provide nutrition education on how food impacts our well-being
- Design personalized diet and lifestyle programs that optimize health, prevent disease, and reverse health problems.

We will talk, I’ll answer any questions you have, discuss a plan that’s right for you, and see if we would be a good fit to work together. My approach is different than other nutritionists and health coaches, because I blend the two roles into one. I provide holistic based and personalized recommendations based on science, research, professional knowledge and expertise. But, I also believe that YOU hold the key to your success. YOU know yourself and your body the best. Guess what? You DO have the power to heal your body. As your coach I support you in putting you in the driver’s seat of your health! My approach of being both your professional guide and coach teaches and empowers you of how to get the results you want and make it a long term lifestyle!

How do Programs work?
Your health journey begins with a Kick-Off Foundation Session with me. Together we will discuss your health concerns, current lifestyle, and any barriers. I want to get to know YOU and your specific health goals, so we can determine the best (and realistic) “road map” to get you where you want to be.
From here, you’ll receive your personalized and comprehensive wellness plan that will address all of your specific concerns and goals. I will address all aspects of your well-being: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
In your Foundation Session, we fully explore the health goals you are looking to achieve. We will determine a path and timeline to reach those goals. By the end of the session, you’ll have tangible action steps to get started on and feel confident in what your health journey might look like!
After the Foundation Session, I will create your comprehensive plan, depending on which package is best for you, in addition to several educational modules and resources to help you along the way.
Accountability is a huge part of success and a cornerstone to my programs. 1:1 live coaching sessions are 30 minutes long and a key component to staying on track & making progress towards reaching your goals. These sessions allow time to go over an questions you have, discuss positive changes and address challenges and setbacks. At the end of every session, we will have decided on a short term plan with tangible and realistic action steps to work on, that will keep you on the path to reaching those long term goals.
Without action and accountability, the plan is just a good idea on paper, and end up we falling short of our potential. I’m here to keep you on course and to help you throughout the whole journey!
What are Coaching Sessions?
Coaching sessions are 1:1 appointments that are all about YOU and helping you get optimal success! These sessions help you navigate through your Personalized Wellness Program. Coaching Sessions are accountability check ins and “pitstops” along your health journey

- Track progress and wins while addressing any setbacks or challenges

How long do Clients work with you?
The duration of time a client and I work together is all based on the individual, their goals and the type of support they need. I have worked with some clients for multiple years!
At minimum, I require a 12 week commitment to your package. From my years of experience, that is the minimum amount of time it takes most clients to make progress AND maintain the changes they’ve achieved. Clients who have reached their goals and maintained results long term success work with me on average anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.
How are Sessions held?
Sessions are held through video conference, phone or in-person ( I am in the Cleveland Ohio area).

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a fitness coach when I combined my love of fitness with my passion to help others. I started working out in college and my major at the time was Sociology. I decided to change majors and pursue the fitness field. I started working as a trainer back in 2008 and have been at it ever since! I fell in love with overall health and wellness and realized there is so much more to learn and explore! Since then I have expanded my education and experience to provide comprehensive wellness services.
What should I expect as a client?
I encourage my clients to be honest with themselves and with me. I can only help clients who are willing to make the commitment to change and succeed! I also recommend clients be as detailed as possible with their previous and current routines, challenges, stressors etc. The more information you can share with me, the more I can help you!
