I hear this ALL the time: “Why am I struggling to stick to healthy eating & my routine?”
Do you want to know one of the biggest mistakes people make when it comes to RESULTS? Not being PREPARED. Fail to Plan = Plan to Fail. Such a simple but it is actually SO true.
Think about times when you haven’t prepared ahead of time for something (meals, exercise, work, school etc) and then you were rushed, stressed, and things didn’t go very well?! Yaaaa it’s happened to all of us and I know it does not make me feel good!
I hate running around at the last minute and doing a little prep work BEFORE makes all of the difference!
How can you get better prepared when it comes to healthy eating?
-Plan out your meals for a few days or a week ahead of time
-Create a grocery list & shopping routine
-Wash and cut your veggies & fruit
-Cook your proteins
-Make Food Prep EASY, like with Sheet Pan Meals!
Sheet Pan Meals are great because it’s a one stop prep for the entire meal. You can literally throwing everything on 1 baking sheet and cook it! There are so many ideas/recipes, but make to include a lean protein, a vegetable & herbs/spices for flavor.
Pictured above: Organic chicken breast, green beans & broccoli florets (both were actually frozen!) diced yellow onion and smoked paprika, italian seasoning, himalayan pink sea salt, black pepper and minced garlic. Everything was baked at 375F together for about 30 minutes.
This makes several meals for one, or a fast dinner for the family! Feel free to add a side salad, or a complex carbohydrate like red potato or quinoa on the side. Possibilities are endless with different combinations.
It’s the little things, you know, that ALL ADD UP! Setting aside time to prepare multiple meals at at time will save you stress and energy later. Sheet pan meals are great, but some other ideas are using your crockpot, air fryer or Instapot!
