A healthy and super easy Cranberry Sauce recipe! It uses no refined sugars or processed ingredients, and only 3 ingredients required!
INGREDIENTS:
1 12-oz bag of fresh cranberries
1/2 cup (filtered) water
1/3 to 1/2 cup granulated erythritol (I use Anthony’s or Swerve brand)
Optional:
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Scant 1/4 tsp ground ginger
Scant 1/4 tsp dried orange peel
DIRECTIONS:
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients. Heat on stovetop on just under medium heat, until it starts to slowly boil. Stir occasionally, and let it cook for about 5 minutes. The berries will start to soften & become more of a sauce consistency.
Then, reduce to low heat and simmer for approx. another 5 minutes. Cook until desired consistency! Note that it will thicken up a little once completely cooled.
When done, remove from heat and let it cool completely before transferring to a glass container. Store in fridge OR freezer until enjoying!
