A Health Coach can be defined as “a wellness authority and supportive mentor who motivates individuals to cultivate positive health choices. They educate and support clients to achieve their health goals through lifestyle and behavior adjustments.” Health coaches are experienced guides in the fields of nutrition, wellness, bio-individuality, mentoring and behavior modification. They provide support, accountability, education and motivation.
WHY WORK WITH A HEALTH COACH?
We sometimes know what to do, but need the accountability and support to make the change and put our goals into action. This is where I come in, as your personal health coach!
Coaching Sessions are for those who want individualized accountability, guidance and recommendations. Coaching is for those who want to take an active role in their health; they want to learn how to maximize their progress and have these healthy changes be a new LIFESTYLE!
If you have been suffering from long term, chronic issues such as chronic stress, hormonal imbalances, stubborn weight loss, or fatigue, then Coaching Sessions are an ideal next step!
Coaching sessions gives us the time to speak on a private, one on one basis and you can share any personal health concerns and goals. It allows you the space to work on how to implement all of the education and resources that you have received through your Personalized Wellness Program, or maybe some other health information that you’re interested in trying.
Coaching isn’t me “telling you what to do”…it is collaborating together to ask “How do I get started and how can I be successful with it?”
During these sessions we are able to discuss in depth how to maximize your progress and discuss any obstacles or struggles to your success. Here this time is all about YOU and anything you wish to focus on. I am your sounding board, providing you with the space to work through any issues, and provide any recommendations that may help guide you on your journey. It allows us to brainstorm and work together on how to best create that those action steps to get you where you want to be.
Coaching is for you, if you are ready to participate and be active in your health journey. You must want AND be ready to make a change. No matter how big or small that first step is, I will be there to help you get started, keep you motivated and support you throughout these changes!

Functional Medicine Health Coaching in a Clinical Setting
I can help, because I’ve had health challenges myself. I have experienced adrenal dysfunction/fatigue, anxiety, hypothyroidism, amenorrhea and imbalanced hormones and back injuries. Through these experiences, I have learned how a functional medicine and holistic approach is CRUCIAL to success because it:
